Your Grand Mountain Vacation House

Unlike a standard rental, Casa Dorino offers an expansive, multi-story experience that is entirely yours. When you book with us, you enjoy the privacy and space of the whole house — no shared rooms, no other guests. Across three spacious floors, you will find:

Four Large Bedrooms: Three rooms featuring comfortable king-size beds, plus a fourth large bedroom that comfortably accommodates two additional guests.
Two Living Rooms: Plenty of space for the whole family to spread out, relax, or gather for a movie night.
Three Bathrooms: Ensuring comfort and convenience for large groups or families.
Outdoor Living: A very large, well-maintained private garden equipped with a grill for summer barbecues, and a spectacular terrace offering a quiet, panoramic view of the surrounding peaks. A large trampoline for children is available during the summer.
Relaxation & Wellness: There is nothing quite like coming home after a day of skiing or hiking to your private sauna on floor -1. It is our guests’ favorite way to rejuvenate the body and mind.
Details: Available for exclusive guest use. Please request at arrival. Cost: CHF 40 per session (up to 2 hours).
Local Flavors: Our kitchen is fully equipped with Fondue and Raclette sets so you can enjoy an authentic Swiss evening by the mountains.

A Home With a Heart

Casa Dorino was once the home of our great-grandparents, Isidoro and Ottilia, who returned to these mountains after years of farming in California. Our father, Ugo, grew up here alongside his six siblings. In 2019, we — siblings Rosa, Francesco, Massimo, and Michela — lovingly renovated the house to preserve its soul. A small tip from the family: Keep an eye on the central staircase! It’s a bit steep, but it kept our grandmother fit until she was 92!

Hiking: Step right out the front door to access scenic trekking trails leading to the stunning Tremorgio Lake.
Skiing & Winter Sports: We are perfectly positioned for winter enthusiasts. Beyond the local slopes, you have the incredible opportunity for world-class ski touring in the nearby Valle Bedretto, famous for its deep powder and breathtaking summits.
Climbing & Bouldering: Ticino is a world-renowned paradise for climbers. From the technical granite walls of the Leventina Valley to the famous bouldering sectors of Chironico and Sobrio just a short drive away, you are perfectly placed to challenge yourself on some of the best rock in Europe.

Check-out: By 11:00 AM.
Smoke-Free: Smoking is not permitted inside the home.
Pet-Free: To maintain our high standards of cleanliness, pets are not allowed.
Keys: Please look after your keys; a CHF 100 fee applies for lost or stolen sets.
